It's like a microwave!

So today I took the kids out and ran a few errands. Afterward we went to the gym so I could get in a workout before the weekend. After a good hour on the treadmill, I went to get the kids from the children's room and quickly realized as we were leaving that I didn't have my keys. Sure enough...they were in the ignition of the car with the doors locked. We ventured back inside and I called a locksmith. It was a beautiful day outside so the kids and I waited out by the car. There was a landscaped area and a grassy spot where Ava was playing. Ava was picking "flowers" (aka dandelions) for me. I had quite a bouquet. As she picked the last one, she brought it to me and said, "Look Momma, I picked a flower. It's like a microwave!" I still haven't quite figured out where that one came from. Kids say the darnedest things! ;)

Hi Traci,
Sounds like you handled that really well! I am just waiting for the day that I lock the keys in the car. I guess every mom has done it at least once or twice :) Your little ones just get cuter all the time. We send our love!
